The rules for using FaceFinderAi.

1. Who we are

FaceFinderAi (“FaceFinderAi”, “we”, “us”) is operated by a limited liability company organised under the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA. We provide a reverse image face search tool and developer API intended for lawful investigative, research and product‑integration use only.

“You” or “user” means any person or entity that accesses or uses the Service, whether as a website visitor, registered account holder or API user.

2. What the Service does

FaceFinderAi allows you to upload images containing faces and search for visually similar faces across sources we index (your own datasets or the public web, depending on the feature). The Service returns:

• similarity scores and thumbnails, and
• links or references to matching images where available.

We provide search results and similarity scores only. We do not make identity claims, legal conclusions or guarantees that any result is accurate, complete or suitable for a specific purpose. You are responsible for how you interpret and use results.

We may modify, suspend or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time.

3. Eligibility and accounts

To use the Service you must:

• be at least 18 years old,
• have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract, and
• comply with these Terms and all laws that apply to your use of the Service.

When you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your password and API keys secret and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Lawful and acceptable use

You agree to use FaceFinderAi only in a lawful, responsible and proportionate way. In particular, you must not use the Service to:

• violate any applicable law or regulation;

• conduct covert surveillance or tracking of individuals without a valid legal basis;
• target or monitor minors or vulnerable persons;
• support law‑enforcement or intelligence work if you are not legally authorised to do so;
• infringe privacy, image rights, copyright, trademark or other third‑party rights;
• bypass usage limits, scrape the web interface, or circumvent our API and rate limits;
• probe, scan, reverse engineer or attack our infrastructure;
• upload malicious code, malware or scripts; or
• interfere with or disrupt the Service or other users.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have a valid legal basis (such as consent or legitimate interest) to upload and process any images you submit, and that your use of FaceFinderAi complies with data‑protection and other laws that apply to you.

5. Your content

“Your Content” means any images, metadata, text or other material you upload or submit to the Service, as well as search results and derived data generated in your account or via your API key.

You retain any rights you have in Your Content. By submitting it, you grant FaceFinderAi a non‑exclusive, worldwide, royalty‑free licence to:

• host, store, process and analyse Your Content to provide and secure the Service;
• generate derived data such as embeddings, similarity scores and logs; and
• use aggregated and anonymised usage information to improve the Service.

We do not claim ownership of your images and do not sell Your Content to third parties. You promise that you have all rights and a valid legal basis to submit Your Content and that your use of it with the Service does not violate any law or third‑party rights.

6. Plans, payments and refunds

Some parts of FaceFinderAi are free (for example, a limited free search quota). Other features require payment, such as credits or subscriptions.

• Current features, quotas and prices are described on our website or in the dashboard and may be updated from time to time.
• Fees are generally charged in advance. Subscriptions may renew automatically unless you cancel as instructed in your account or on the pricing page.
• Payments are processed by third‑party providers such as Stripe. Their terms and privacy policies apply; we do not store full payment card data.

Unless stated otherwise, fees are non‑refundable once a billing period has started or paid resources have been used. We may consider good‑faith refund requests for unused accounts, but we are not obliged to approve them. If we suspend or terminate your access due to a breach of these Terms or illegal use, you are not entitled to a refund.

7. Service availability and changes

We aim to provide a stable and performant Service, but it is offered on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, any particular response time, or that specific queries will always return results.

We may introduce or change technical limits (such as API rate limits, storage or concurrency) to protect the platform and other users. We may also modify or remove features at any time. Where a change significantly affects a paid plan, we will try to give reasonable advance notice.

9. Intellectual property

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability where such limitation or exclusion is not permitted under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

Subject to the foregoing, and to the maximum extent permitted by law:

• FaceFinderAi and its owners, employees and licensors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or business opportunities.
• Our aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service in any 12‑month period is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid to us for the Service during that period, or (b) USD 100.

12. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless FaceFinderAi and its affiliates, officers, employees and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, USA, without regard to its conflict‑of‑laws principles.

You and FaceFinderAi agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, USA, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Mandatory consumer‑protection rules and jurisdictions that cannot be waived remain unaffected where they apply.
